EXTENDED HOURS PROGRAM
The Extended Hours Program (EHP) at Congressional School offers fun and educational childcare for our preschool through 8th-grade students before and after school each day. In the afternoons, our kindergarten-8th-grade students, located in the Big School, have the opportunity to eat a snack and complete homework in a supervised, classroom-based study hall. They can also choose from a variety of activities each day, which are run by our qualified staff of experienced counselors. Our preschool and jr. kindergarten students, located in the Little School, spend the entire afternoon with their group in their classroom, having snack, reading stories, going to the playground, and participating in activities.
Justin Wells-Morgan, Parent, talks about the benefits of the Extended Hours Program.
The Extended Hours Program operates daily from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.** and 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Enrollment is available to all students, but the program is also open to students who need to drop in when needed, with advance notice.
