Susie joined the Congressional staff in 1992 as a Preschool Teacher. Prior to this, she taught Junior and Senior Kindergarten for 7 years. She has spent the last twenty-eight years happily teaching preschool. Outside of school, Susie loves spending time with her family—especially her sweet grandbabies. She also enjoys watercolor painting, collecting children’s books, antiquing, hiking, kayaking and cuddling with her dogs.
