Evie joined Congressional in 2013. Prior to her time at Congressional, Evie taught second grade at an independent school in Los Gatos, California. Evie also served on the Executive Board of the San Jose Parents Participating Nursery School where her two children attended school. In 2012, Evie and her family relocated to Virginia to become a part of the Congressional School community. Evie is deeply devoted to her two children, Ben and Caroline, both Congressional School alumni. Ben is a member of the class of 2020 and Caroline a member of the class of 2021. With both children now in college, she spends more time working in the yard, taking local day trips, and planning visits to her two children in college. 

After nearly 25 years, Evie still loves spending her days with second graders.
