      Founded in 1939, Congressional is a co-ed, independent, day school on a beautiful 40-acre campus in the heart of Falls Church, Virginia. Dedicated to young learners, infants through 8th graders, Congressional School serves more than 480 students and over 1,500 campers each year.

      Choosing the best school for your child and family is a journey of discovery. Much like a good education, it’s a process of exploration and questioning that leads to a deeper understanding. To truly understand our school, we encourage you to take a tour or attend an open house to see our school in action.
Academics

      A congressional education is broad and deep, and is centered on the children. We don’t teach to tests, we teach for the long term by encouraging students to dig deep and apply what they learn.       More than childcare, Congressional’s infant & toddler program is designed to spark your child’s initial excitement for learning. Your children will be safe, happy, and loved from the minute they enter the classroom. Through play-based learning, we will work on language development, fine and gross motor skills, self-awareness, building relationships, exploration, potty training, and preparing them for preschool.
