CONGRESSIONAL ATHLETICS
HOME OF THE COLTS
At Congressional, children explore athletics as enthusiastically as they do academics. We believe that sports are integral to the overall educational experience and that what our student-athletes learn on court and field, as in the classroom, goes deeper than scores and win-loss records. Our athletics program teaches habits and skills—good sportsmanship, decision-making, personal commitment, discipline, physical fitness, leadership, resilience, and teamwork—that serve young people well in all aspects of their lives.
Games are opportunities for students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to come together and show their school spirit. Children learn what it means to work towards a common goal and to support and be supported by the inclusive Congressional community.

Each sport offered (except for softball) has both boys' and girls' Varsity and Jr. Varsity teams. Rosters are kept small, providing a good player-to-coach ratio and allowing for considerable playing time.
