Enhancing Shakespeare Instruction in 7th and 8th Grade.
"I am seeking to enhance our Shakespeare curriculum by expanding our curriculum materials and attending the current Broadway production of Shakespeare’s Othello, starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal. As an educator who teaches two tragedies, Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth to 7th and 8th grade; and as an educator who leads the school’s Shakespeare Club; this opportunity will significantly enrich my curriculum and allow me to enhance student engagement with Shakespeare's works."
