Matching Gifts
You may enhance the power of your donation is through a corporate matching gift. Many employers match donations to educational institutions. You can double or triple the total amount of your gift if your company participates in this program.

Check with your personnel or human resources department for details on obtaining a matching gift form for Congressional Schools. Many companies will match gifts made by their Board of Directors and retirees of their organization.

Planned Giving
Including Congressional in your long-term financial planning can benefit you, your family, and the school. A planned gift to Congressional is an excellent way to realize a tax benefit now while investing in the future of the School without impacting your cash flow, lifestyle, or family security.

The Development Office is pleased to work with you to design a planned gift arrangement that will help Congressional and at the same time meet your personal philanthropic interests. In addition to cash gifts, the school is poised to receive gifts of securities, personal property, real estate, a gift from your estate, and more.

For more information on making a gift that honors your philanthropic intentions, while achieving your financial and tax planning goals, click here.

Any item that doesn't carry a valid professional appraisal comes under the heading of gifts-in-kind.  Donations of office equipment or other valuable items given to the school for use in classrooms, offices, etc. are very much appreciated.

Memorial and Named Gifts
Opportunities exist within the school for named gifts or special memorials to honor a family member, friend, or loved one. Contact the Development Office for more information.

Appreciated Securities
