Stephanie joined the Congressional family in 2013 as a First Grade Teacher, but was already a familiar face to our staff, having been a Camp Counselor since 2006 and a former Congressional student. Before joining us, Stephanie spent time in the public school system assisting children with exceptional needs and also volunteered her time for an organization that tutored and counseled underprivileged children. In 2017 Stephanie transitioned into being a Kindergarten teacher at Congressional. Outside of school, Stephanie enjoys hiking, bicycling, trips to the beach or just spending time with her dogs, Zoe and Hannah.
“I hope to ignite a passion to learn and explore in each and every student. In kindergarten we learn through our mistakes, and I love helping students understand that the classroom is a safe place in which we need to take bold chances in order to discover the world around us.”
