RACHEL DOUGLASS
Admission Associate
B.A. in History, Roanoke College
Rachel Douglass joined Congressional School in the role of Admission Associate in July of 2021. In her early career, Rachel served as fundraiser and program coordinator for Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network as part of the University of Virginia Health System. After many years in the non-profit and private event industries as a planner, she transitioned to independent schools in 2012 at St. Anne’s-Belfield School, a co-ed Preschool through Grade 12 boarding and day school located in Charlottesville, Virginia. A move to the San Francisco Bay area in 2016 led Rachel to the College Preparatory School and later, Guide Dogs for the Blind. After taking time out of the traditional workforce to be home with her family, Rachel is thrilled to have found her place in the Congressional School community.
Outside of school, Rachel enjoys spending time with her young family, traveling to new places, exploring local eateries, and visiting the mountains.
