This is Penni’s second year working as Congressional School’s Math Specialist providing enrichment for students who are high achievers in math as well as those who need additional support. Penni earned her PhD in Instructional Technology from George Mason University, and her graduate and undergraduate degrees from George Washington University. She has conducted postgraduate work in Mathematics Education at a number of universities including Princeton, and was the President of the Independent School Mathematics Association of Washington, D.C. from 1994-1996. Penni has significant independent school experience as a classroom teacher, math instructor, Upper School Math Department Chair, Instructional Coach, and educational consultant.
