Leah joined Congressional in 2019. At the beginning of her career, Leah started working in early childhood education as a preschool teacher and after-care teacher. She was involved in going on mission trips to Alabama to help foster children, to Haiti to volunteer in an orphanage in Cap-Haitien, and she backpacked and camped through Europe where she mentored teenage girls. Leah decided to transition to nursing and graduated from the Northern Virginia Community College LPN program in 2017. Since then she has worked as a Pediatric nurse in an outpatient doctor's office. Leah has always wanted to get back into education and is very excited to be working in school nursing.
In her free time she is going back to school to become an RN, and when she's not doing that she is either biking, hiking or camping with her husband. Leah also greatly enjoys volunteering at her church to mentor teenage girls.
