Kelly Zito first joined the Congressional family in 2016 as a parent when she enrolled her two children, Andrew and Olivia, in the Primary School. She quickly became immersed in the community and volunteered her time on the Gala Committee, as a Parent Ambassador, and as the chair of the 2017 Fall Festival. She began as our Development Associate in Fall 2018.
Kelly started her career in financial services at John Hancock in Boston, MA. After moving to Washington, DC in 2006, Kelly transitioned to the nonprofit world where she served in several different roles at HandsOn Network/ Points of Light. After leaving HandsOn Network/ Points of Light, Kelly stayed at home with her children and volunteered at local nonprofits, such as SCAN of Northern Virginia, her neighborhood’s association and Friends of Guest House. Among her roles were planning and executing fundraiser events.
When she isn’t at school, Kelly enjoys spending her time with her husband, her children and friends, reading, traveling, skiing and being out on the lake in the summer.
"I love the Congressional family, and I am thrilled to be working alongside dedicated employees to build a strong sense of community and engage members in a meaningful way."
