Jordana joined the Congressional community in the 2019-2020 school year. Jordana earned her Master's Degree in Fine Art in Painting/Drawing with a concentration in Printmaking from the State University of New York in New Paltz and her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Printmaking at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC. Jordana is certified to teach K-12 Art in Virginia. Jordana has taught for 12 years in a variety of school settings with all ages and skill levels. In the classroom, Jordana believes her role as an art educator is to expose children to a variety of media and to enable students to foster a love of creativity and the fine arts. As an artist, Jordana often works with mixed media, printmaking and sewing. Her art has been displayed in shows throughout the DC metro area as well as in New York.
In addition to creating art in her free time, Jordana enjoys spending time with her sons who are 6 months and almost 3 years-old along with her husband.
